Israel's escalation of violence in Lebanon has inflicted immense damage on civilian infrastructure and led to tragic loss of life while more than 2 million people in Gaza continue to face high risk of famine—particularly women, children, and elderly people. Following the violent attacks by Palestinian armed groups in October 2023, Israel’s retaliatory siege and airstrikes are taking a devastating toll on civilians across the region, with the violence now affecting civilians in Lebanon, as well.
